1970s Glam With Halston Heritage

Inspiration for the Spring 2016 HALSTON HERITAGE collection came from Robert Polidori’s vivid photographs of Havana ’s faded grandeur.

The 70s glam aesthetic continues – juxtaposed with an effortless tropical influence – perfect for the Halstonette lounging in the summer heat.

Integral hardware is designed to catch the light and elevate breezy, minimalist silhouettes. Bell sleeves with slits, front and back cowls, and relaxed A – line shapes are mixed with modern pleating, luxe crepe, palette sequins and metallic beading to create a collection that is distinctly feminine for day and evening.

Organic stripes, orchid and botanical prints along with pops of corals, parfait pink, and terracotta hues lend a nod to the vivaciousness of Havana – balanced by a cooling theme of rich neutrals and icy blues.

Accessories and handbags exude the decadence of the 70s found through the curved ring hardware, which serves as the collection’s focal point. Handbags echo the rich, tropical colours and blur the lines between day and evening with soft, natural and metallic
leathers and supple suede.
