Renowned Chef, Lode De Roover, of restaurant ‘Fleur de Lin’ in Belgium had taken over the kitchen of At.mosphere, Burj Khalifa in Dubai on May 18 and 19, 2017 to offer guests in the restaurant an exquisite multi-course menu.
Bringing over 15 years of culinary experience at Michelin-starred restaurants in Belgium and The Netherlands, Chef Lode helped create an inspirational menu with seasonal produce and premium ingredients, sourced from 12 different countries across the globe.
Dishes featured in the special restaurant menu were a true celebration of flavors and textures. The signature dishes of Chef Lode were reworked with some special ingredients and preparations to offer a taste of Belgium to food connoisseurs in Dubai.
Indulge in Chef Lode’s delectable dishes including Foie Gras Bonbons, Baked Chicken Oyster, Grated Summer Truffle, Veal Tartare and an assortment of seafood delicacies such as Cannelloni of Daikon with Samphire, Langoustines and Smoked Mackerel.
Awarded the title of ‘first cook of Belgium 2011’ at the prestigious cooking competition Prosper Montagné, Chef Lode was also selected as ‘Masterchef of Belgium’ in 2015. Having worked at some of the country’s top restaurants, including three-Michelin-starred Comme Chez Soi in Brussels, Chef Lode started his own restaurant – Fleur de Lin – in 2013.
