We all know how Dubai is one of the most glamorous cities in the world with beautifully groomed women who take pride in their appearance. It’s a fitting home and base for the well known beauty influencer and founder of Dollhouse Beauty Salon, Huda Kattan, who, following in her big sister’s steps, Mona Kattan and her friend, Basma Al Fahim, recently opened the anticipated The Beauty Studio under the same banner, Dollhouse.
Set to pamper their clients from head to toe, the Beauty Studio has been created with relaxation and revolutionary treatments in mind. While manicures and blow-dries are a must at the original Dollhouse location, the latest in massages, waxing and even microblading can be found at the new Beauty Studio. Unlike the main Dollhouse salon, the beauty services will be provided by therapists from all over the world who have been trained to the highest standards of beauty techniques that can be found in the market.
Upon entering, the studio has a ‘First Class Lounge’ feel to it with every bit of furniture in white contrasting with a few pinks and purples here and there.
There are private rooms for massage and lycon waxing services, all in white deco. Keeping up with the modern times, technology is everywhere. Customers can enjoy surfing through an iPad connected with a free Wi-Fi where they can have access to TV shows, movies and games etc. Chargers for both iPhone and Android are available upon request and assorted beverages are on offer to customers to make them feel pampered besides the treatment they are seeking. Al Fahimi explains, “As always, we are so excited to make our clients feel at home at their very own Dollhouse, we can’t wait to make everyone feel pampered!”
With the exception of the services and tech at hand, customers can also enjoy purchasing beauty products available within the studio. The products include, cosmetics from Huda Beauty, hair products from Ouai and nail polishes from O.P.I. to name a few.
“As a beauty lover, I still feel there is a lot of room for improvement in retail selection for beauty products in almost every salon and even retailer. Unfortunately, as we’re based in the Middle East we still get a lot of brands and products later than everyone else but we hope to put a stop to that. Our retail section is going to be a huge focus for us moving forward and we’re so excited,” enlightens Mona Kattan.
When KM had the pleasure of trying the treatments and bespoke services, we were eager to get started.
Not only did we get the experience promised but, we could definitely feel that the service offered is unlike any other beauty spot in the U.A.E. The manicure and pedicure are excellently detailed and relaxing. With the iPad to hand and relaxing ambience, 2 hours flew by like 15 minutes!
The studio smells of essential oils and fresh floral fragrance and the whole place is spotless and clean. Once pampered and polished, we couldn’t resist purchasing a few haircare products and joining the membership as well!
Our verdict: An absolute luxury experience. We highly recommend it.
