With the news out that fasting period this Ramadan is set to last over 15 hours, who doesn’t want to enjoy a convenient and hassle-free Iftar to break your fast? It’s ‘wish granted’ with Right Bite NOW creating a healthy hearty Iftar Box with a convenient home delivery!
Right Bite NOW is the quick delivery service innovation from The Right Bite Nutrition & Catering Services, known to have pioneered the individualised healthy meal plan delivery service. Right Bite NOW caters to those who are not subscribed to any of Right Bite’s personalised nutrition programs, or just about anyone who wants convenient and healthy food.
Consistent with the highest standards of the Right Bite NOW menu, the Iftar Box was carefully planned to come up with a full set of calorie-controlled and well-balanced meals that will provide the necessary nutrients to help your body recover after a whole day of fasting. Nathalie Haddad, Founder and Managing Director, The Right Bite Nutrition and Catering Services L.L.C., explained: “We took into account the kind of food you need to rehydrate your body, restore your blood sugar levels and help the stomach adjust to eating again after long hours of fasting. There’s the ‘portion control’ element as well when we created the menu as we’re extra careful of avoiding any after-meal discomfort, such as indigestion and heartburn, and possible weight gain.”
The Iftar Box, available from Sunday to Thursday, is priced at AED 70 inclusive of delivery charge. The set contains dates, laban, soup, the special of the day, and water. There is a featured soup for each day, as follows: Lentil for Sundays and Thursdays, Mushroom for Mondays, Minestrone for Tuesdays, and Broccoli for Wednesdays. The highlight of the Iftar Box is the special of the day, which consists of a main meal that comes with a green salad and Ashtalieh for dessert. There are four dishes customers can choose from for their main meal:
· Fish Siyyadieh – The Lebanese take on paella. A classic fish and rice dish. Cream dory fillets grilled to perfection served with a browned onion rice.
· Chicken Mougrabieh – An exciting yet comforting dish in one with little dough balls, served with spiced chicken, chickpeas and sautéed onions that perfectly absorb the caraway and cinnamon chicken broth they cook in.
· Kafta wa Batata – Lean minced lamb patties, layered with potatoes and onions and baked in a light tomato sauce.
· Chicken Pasta Bake – whole wheat fussily tossed in a light cream sauce with lean shredded chicken breast and mushrooms and baked to golden deliciousness.
