The café by day and brasserie by evening perfectly complements the venue’s unique in-house tea libraries with this new special offering. Guests can sip on a selection of the finest teas, accompanied by an array of freshly baked scones, cakes, sandwiches and more, available daily.

KM went along to the Nation Towers, Abu Dhabi branch to visit the Tea Doctors and artisans at work….

The setting is simple and stylish with a welcoming buzz. First impressions were love at first sight as, pausing mid-step, we immediately laid our eyes on the mouth-watering, multi-layered super-sized cake creations on display at the entrance. As we were ushered to our table, we noticed that the central display area offered a delectable selection of gourmet salads, quiches, sandwiches and more and a blazing pizza oven was hard at work with the evidently popular special of the day. This is clearly the perfect dining spot for foodies just about any time of the day, this time though, we were looking forward to our ‘Tea for Two’ experience!

As we sat relaxing on the partially open terrace overlooking the corniche and beach clubs beyond, a spoiling array of treats arrived beautifully presented on three tiers and the resident Tea Doctor served us our choice of buffalo milk-infused Oolong tea, which we selected from the extensive speciality tea menu.

The new High Tea menu features a selection of Leopold’s of London favourite savoury sandwiches including the classic Beef Bresaola served with tomato, rocket and Dijon mustard on a house baked brioche bun or Sesame Bagel with Smoked Salmon, cream cheese, celeriac and carrot remoulade; prepared from the finest quality ingredients. Guests can then indulge in carefully crafted sweets such as the Passion Fruit Meringue, Chocolate and Salted Caramel Eclairs. Additionally, Leopold’s of London puts a modern twist on dessert flavours showcasing Spiced Chai Crème Brûlée and Spiced Carrot Cake, set to tantalise tastebuds.

Traditional delights fresh from the oven are also served including Scones served with strawberry jam and clotted cream and Seasonal Berry Tarts, as well as an assortment of deliciously colourful Macaroons. In house tea doctors are on hand to assist guests with recommendations, any one of which, will complete the decedent experience and leave you tempted to try more.
