“Sunshine, the outdoors and the sculptural grandeur of architects like Richard Meier and Frank Gehry were the starting point for my Spring Summer collection. I wanted to convey an upbeat attitude whilst juxtaposing new with old – artisanal vintage references blended with bold, graphic architectural details – to create something modern and surprising.” Sandra Choi, Creative Director
For west coast swagger, sandals are sculpted into heels and platforms in a wave of tactile woven leather, cork and plexi, and finished with a flurry of ankle-ties, laces and palm motifs. An exuberant palette of buttercup, coral and “Maliblu” are played out across sandals, clogs and pool slides, while desert neutrals of canyon, khaki, shiraz suede and sun-kissed metallics unfurl throughout roper boots, espadrilles, flats and and cross-body bags.
Key new shoe styles have attitude and a sense of fun and include TAYTUM, a banana heel platform sandal with hand-woven, cage-front upper; KISSY, a sculpted statement heel rendered in surf and sunshine hues of metallic Maliblu and yellow and MERRY, a sexy kid suede slip-on clog with clear plexi heels injected with glitter. New styles for bags are designed with a liberated hands-free woman in mind, and include the LOCKETT PETITE, a cross-body mini in canvas, denim and suede, and MARDY, a chic bum-bag that is LA ready in upbeat metallic and exotics.
