Middle East travellers have helped a luxury Maldivian resort claim the title of the finest spa on the planet.
St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort took the honour at the recent World Spa Awards – part of the prestigious World Travel Awards.
The resort’s General Manager, Alexander Blair, pinpointed the influence and feedback from Middle East guests as key to their success. He said: “These awards are a truly great honour for the resort and puts in the spotlight the most breathtaking spa anywhere on the planet.”
“From the stunning architecture to the experiences on offer to guests, the spa is the crown jewel of St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort. It has such a strong appeal to guests from the Middle East as it combines modern luxury with privacy and the very latest in treatments.”
“Guests from the across the Middle East are very important to us and have played a key part in winning these awards. St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort has several strong links to the Middle East, one of which is in the form of award-winning executive chef, Ayyoub Salameh.
