About The Hotel
You will be welcomed at the Westin Resort Nusa Dua in the traditional Balinese way with ladies in local costumes performing a welcome dance as you get out of the car, offering you flowers from the island and greeting you in Bahasa language.
The most impressive feature of the Westin Resort Nusa Dua lobby is certainly its remarkably high ceiling in natural wood, imitating the style of an Asian pagoda and contributing to setting the scene from your arrival.
The hotel stretches across from the main entrance up to the beach, with a main building hosting the reception and other facilities and wings located on each side for the rooms. In the middle of the resort, tropical gardens, water ponds with fishes and several pools – including a salt water pool – complete the holiday picture.
A new wing with modern rooms, an Italian restaurant and its own swimming pool was added to the resort 3 years ago when the international convention center (part of the hotel facilities) hosted the Miss World contest and later on the APEC summit.
The Rooms
Each of the 433 newly refurbished guestrooms and suites feature the acclaimed Heavenly® Bed, famous to the luxury hotel chain, to restore your mind and body with a restful night’s sleep.
The contemporary guestrooms were all designed with touches of nature and traditional Balinese accents to reflect the local 
surroundings and maintain a tropical feel. Guest rooms average 38 sq. meters in size and all rooms and suites feel spacious with
a balcony providing either an ocean, pool or garden view.
The hotel also features apartment type rooms or family suites that will be highly appreciated by families or groups. These feature two bedrooms each with its own en-suite bathroom and a shared living room in the middle. A children’s play area is even available within this room category.
During our visit at the Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali, we stayed in the new wing with a modern and spacious room featuring a large bathroom with central bathtub and separate rain shower, as well as, a small terrace and separate dressing room.
Leisure and Entertainment Facilities
The Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali has a strong reputation for being a family oriented hotel with a special focus on the wellness of its guests.
The sports and leisure facilities include: four pools, with one being dedicated to children with water slides; a variety of water sports; two tennis courts; and the Westin gym, which is open 24/7.

Some of the other activities organized daily by the hotel include cycling tours around Nusa Dua, snorkeling exercise at the pool, wind surf simulation, table tennis competitions or yoga.
This family friendly resort offers an assortment of complimentary facilities for young travelers, including a 12-metre waterslide in the freshwater pool, the Kids Club with games and
educational activities, the toddlers’ area, and even a Teens Zone 
where those aged 12 years and above can simply hang out and relax on beanbags while playing video games , reading books or watching movies.

Drawing on ancient healing practices such as Yoga, Meditation and Balinese Healing, Heavenly Spa is a destination of choice.
With a focus on holistic wellness and drawing on Bali’s traditional healing practices, your therapist at the Heavenly Spa will use techniques combining sacred Balinese and modern therapies. The spa features a Holistic Activity calendar with Yoga, Meditation and Balinese Tai Chi sessions being organized early morning and sunset daily with experienced instructors who teach all levels, such as the resident Wellness Specialist – Jitendra Pokhriyal, coming straight from the birth place of Yoga in India.

SEASONAL TASTE
The all day dining restaurant of the resort built around an open kitchen concept with live cooking stations serving cuisine from around the globe. From exotic flavors of Asia to healthy fare of the Mediterranean, this restaurant will satisfy all gourmets. You can either sit inside or on the terrace outside right above the fish pond and have fun feeding them with some pieces of bread. Kids will just love it, but we did too!
Seasonal Taste also serves an international buffet breakfast featuring Indian, Indonesian, Chinese and Japanese dishes, live cooking stations for omelets, pancakes and crêpes and a fresh juice bar.
PREGO
From freshly baked bread and pizzas to homemade pasta dishes topped with classic sauces, the entire PREGO menu is filled with tempting options for those in search of a family restaurant in Bali.
We tried the Prego Family Brunch that takes place every Sunday from 11.30 am to 3:00 pm featuring lively activities, entertaining stunts, and the island’s biggest buffet of authentic Italian cuisine.
Every month the buffet theme changes, featuring a particular region
of Italy. This time we had the chance to experience the Toscana cuisine and recipes with an impressive display of fresh produce and dishes originating from this part of Italy.
The young guests are pampered at Prego with a dedicated kids’ area including a private buffet, an expansive outdoor playground area and engaging indoor activities, such as cupcake decorating, photo sessions with Pipo the Squirrel and Play Station games as well as a magician show.
IKAN
Just steps from the white sandy beach of Nusa Dua, Ikan Restaurant offers a panoramic view of the ocean and a relaxed dining ambience. This beach restaurant in Bali serves Balinese specialties, delicious seafood and Western cuisine in an oceanfront setting. We tried
IKAN for one of our dinners and were delighted by the choice of authentic Indonesian cuisine dishes we found on the menu. IKAN’s menu also includes a section dedicated to local dishes for those who want to go even further and experience the Balinese cuisine, like for example, a selection of authentic Balinese appetizers consisting of beef & chicken satays, spring rolls, corn fritters and fried prawns with condiments.
